Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you use the Travoix service, operated by Travoix, Inc. This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.

1. Data Controller

The Travoix service is provided by Travoix, based in Newark, Delaware (US). Your personal data is processed by Travoix as the data controller, for the purposes described in this document.

2. What Data We Collect

Account information: your name, email address and password (stored in encrypted form).

Meeting data: the ID of the meeting you join, your selected language, your participation duration and the number of participants.

Audio and video data: the audio and video stream transmitted during the call; processed in real time for translation.

Usage and technical data: IP address, browser and device information, connection quality and the log records needed for the service to operate.

Payment data: payment transactions are carried out through contracted payment providers; your card details are not stored by us.

3. Purposes for Which We Use Data

To provide the video calling and real-time translation service.

To create your account, verify your identity and ensure account security.

To manage your subscription and billing.

To improve the service, fix errors and prevent abuse.

To fulfil our legal obligations.

4. Processing of Audio and Video Data and Translation

For real-time translation, the speaker's audio is transmitted to the AI-based translation infrastructure, which produces the translated audio and subtitles. This happens during the call; call content is not recorded or stored by default. The meeting is recorded only if the organizer explicitly starts a recording, and all participants are notified when this happens.

5. Transfer of Data Abroad

Our translation service is powered by third-party AI providers (e.g. Google Gemini) whose servers may be located abroad. For this reason, your call audio may be transferred to servers abroad for translation purposes. This transfer relies on the explicit consent you give before joining the meeting.

6. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep your session active, remember your preferences (e.g. language selection) and secure the service. You can manage your cookie preferences from your browser; however, disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect some features.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for the purposes set out in this policy and for the periods required by applicable law. When you close your account, your data is deleted or anonymized, subject to any legal retention obligations.

8. Data Security

To protect your data we apply technical and organizational measures such as TLS encryption in transit, access controls, short-lived meeting tokens and at-rest encryption.

9. Your Rights

You have rights including learning whether your personal data is processed, accessing it, requesting its correction or deletion, objecting to processing and data portability. To exercise these rights, you can contact us at support@travoix.com.

10. Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. For significant changes we will inform you and publish the current version on this page.
